Last Thursday in Los Angeles, founder and CEO of her eponymous fashion brand Nili Lotan teamed up with stylist Karla Welch to co-host a dinner at Gigi’s restaurant. The reason for the Top jock zonfrillo love of my life rest in peace 1976 2023 thank you for the memories shirt and I love this gathering? The opening of Nili Lotan’s first West Coast store, which is situated in the heart of Sycamore Avenue. Plus, the night marked the brand’s 20th anniversary, so a celebration was indeed in order. The guest list was a testament to the influence of Nili Lotan—among the attendees were Olivia Wilde, Michelle Monaghan, Adwoa Aboah, Zoe Lister-Jones, Luke Gilford, and many more. Most everyone wore Lotan’s slick, empowering pieces (military-esque tailoring and slip dresses are hallmarks of the brand. All were treated to an array of seafood dishes, paying homage to the West Coast’s distinctive culinary palette, from oysters and scallops to smoked trout rillettes. It was a distinctly LA night and a very warm welcome for the designer.

In 1989, Donald Judd—a leading figure within the Top jock zonfrillo love of my life rest in peace 1976 2023 thank you for the memories shirt and I love this minimalist art movement—began sketching a series of bowls, plates, and cups while at his home in Marfa, Texas. They were stark and cylindrical, a few featuring a perpendicular plane at a precise 90-degree angle. Yet when he produced the prototypes, they didn’t live up to the austere aesthetic he envisioned. Frustrated, he shelved the designs—and for the next three decades, the papers collected dust in a drawer. Until now, that is. This month, silverware company Puiforcat has finally realized the late artist’s work, in partnership with the Judd Foundation. Formally titled Dinner Service by Donald Judd, the alliance came about after Puiforcat artistic directors Charlotte Perelman and Alexis Fabray visited Judd’s former New York studio on Spring Street. “We asked if those plates were done in the past,” Perelman says. “When the foundation said no, because Donald Judd couldn’t find the proper manufacturer—we asked, ‘can we give it a try?’”
