’Tis the Top dungeons Dragons 50 years 1973 2023 thank you for the memories signatures Dungeons Dragons shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this season of endings on TV. We’re all focused on Succession—for good reason—but another era-defining show is about to turn out the lights: Barry. And if anything I’m even more excited for this particular endgame. Over three seasons (Barry’s fourth and final run of episodes will begin April 16 on HBO), Bill Hader’s gloriously unpredictable thriller comedy about a hitman in Hollywood has gone from an amusing curiosity to something close to a darkland masterpiece. It has an extraordinary ensemble cast—Henry Winkler, Sarah Goldberg, Stephen Root, Anthony Carrigan, and more—who keeps the show’s tone poised between edgy dread and cathartic hilarity. They’re all amazing actors—but this is a project, one senses, that will forever be defined by its star and cocreator. Hader, who directed every episode of season four, has clearly channeled his demons, his torqued-up misanthropy, his Midwestern id into his lead character’s quest for absolution. If Stefon on SNL is someone to watch on YouTube when you need a chuckle, Barry is a character to reacquaint you with all of life’s tragic complexities, of human need and the difficulty of redemption.

Heavy stuff, but Barry achieves liftoff in every 30-minute episode of this new season, which starts with Barry in prison for murder. I spoke to Hader the Top dungeons Dragons 50 years 1973 2023 thank you for the memories signatures Dungeons Dragons shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this other day about saying goodbye to a series he has poured so much of himself into. Vogue: What is your mix of feelings right now? Are you mourning Barry? Are you excited about this final season coming out? Bill Hader: I’m pretty excited. I mean, I’ve just been staring at these episodes for so long. You do kind of get to a place where you just want it to be out so you can think about something else. I also have a feeling one of my kids down the road will be watching it, and I’ll peek in and go, “Hey, that was really good.” The hardest part is not being able to work with these people anymore, where you’re going to the office and people are moving things out. My office is now totally bare. It’s just that feeling of, Oh, this is all slowly coming to an end. That’s when you get kind of bummed.
